  • 1. Register with AusTender

    If you have not already done so, register for an AusTender account here. Once logged into your AusTender account, search for PPD/DA/71746/1 or click here to download and review all relevant RFS documentation and all addenda issued in relation to the RFS prior to proceeding.

  • 2. Submit Response Form & Deeds

    Review, prepare and submit a response in accordance with the RFS documentation via the AusTender website here

    Only Respondents who are assessed by the Commonwealth as meeting the requirements of the RFS will be invited to participate in the subsequent closed auction process.

  • 3. Attend Inspection/ Industry

    If assessed as meeting the requirements of the RFS, the Commonwealth will arrange your physical or online attendance for set inspection/ industry days. Attendance for the Industry Day/ Inspection held at Asia Pacific Aircraft Storage (APAS) in Alice Springs, Northern Territory AUSTRALIA are strictly by Invitation ONLY. The invitation is a requirement upon entry. Respondents are limited to two representatives and must provide the proposed representatives at least 3 days prior to the Industry Day directed to the Contact Officer. The Commonwealth will assess the nomination requests, if approved you will be provided with written confirmation.

    To request a Personal Video Inspection/ Conference please inform the Contact Officer.

  • 4. Submit an EOI for the Closed Auction

    In order to complete the EOI  you will need to complete a request for Submission Declaration, a Response Form and complete the Lodgement here.

    Upon receiving  the EOI a vetting process will determine your acceptance to participate in the Closed Auction.

  • 5. Acceptance to Participate in the Closed Auction

    A link to create an account with our auctioneers Pickles will be provided so you can participate in the Closed Auction of the Australian Ex-Military Boeing Business Jets.

  • 6. Online Closed Auction

    The Online Closed Auction will occur over a 7 days period, on dates to be confirmed.

    How to Bid: Manually place your bids in real time, or set your maximum bid and let the system bid automatically on your behalf.

    Auction Extension: If a bid is placed within the final 10 minutes of the auction, the closing time will automatically extend by 10 minutes from the time of that bid. This process will continue until no further bids are received for 10 consecutive minutes, at which point the highest bidder will be declared the winner.

    Payment: The successful bidder is required to pay a deposit equal to 10% of the total amount payable within 5 days of the conclusion of the auction. The remaining balance must be paid in full within 14 days of the conclusion of the auction.
    The total amount payable by the auction winner will be the winning bid amount plus a buyer's premium of 3% of the winning bid. The highest bidder at the close of the auction will be issued an invoice for the total amount due.

    Title Transfer: Ownership and collection rights will only transfer to the successful bidder once full payment has been received, a zero-balance invoice has been issued by the auctioneer, and all Conditions of Sale have been satisfied, including the execution of a Storage Agreement with Asia Pacific Aircraft Storage (APAS) and a Security Deed granting the Commonwealth a security interest in the asset(s), together with consent to register that interest on both the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) and the International Registry.

  • 7. Collections

    The auction winner(s) will not be permitted to collect the asset(s) until the title transfer has been completed and the execution of a Storage Agreement with Asia Pacific Aircraft Storage (APAS) has been provided.
